It is my honor to welcome you to the website of the Kaufman County Cowboy Church. We are a congregation of men and women committed to serving the people of the Western Heritage Culture. We began meeting as a congregation in October of 2006 at the Kaufman County Fairgrounds. In October of 2008 we constituted as a church. We recently moved to our new building at 5970 highway 243 E. (Canton Highway). We meet there at 10:30 A.M. each Sunday morning and at 7:00 PM Wednesday evenings.
We are committed to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and to his written word. We are motivated by the words of the Apostle Paul in Colossians 1: 28-29 "We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ Jesus. To this end we labor, struggling with all of his energy which so powerfully works within us." It is true, we believe that every person should come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ as their savior and follow him in obedient discipleship for the remainder of their lives.
We invite you to join us for worship this coming Sunday morning. We have a great county gospel band and we focus our attention on the teachings of the scripture. We have a Sunday morning program for children birth to 8 years old. We also have a midweek Bible Study/Prayer time on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 with a lite meal served. Our youth Bible Study meets on Thursday evenings at 6:30. Band practice is at 7:30 Thursday evenings
Come see us soon, we look forward to meeting you. The coffee is on and we always have fresh donuts. Come as you are, we don't dress up. Our services are casual and relaxed. Don't have a Bible? Don't fret over it, we'll give you a Cowboy Bible just for coming by. We look forward to seeing you soon.
Tom Ruane,
Pastor
